'Selene and the Strange x Nocturnal Creatures' is a live music and acrobatic experience. Combining the dreamy, electronic indie music of 'Selene and the Strange' with the silky aerial acrobatics of 'Nocturnal Creatures', we invite the audience to come see emerging artists from different crafts, combine their passions. Selene and the strange are an emerging indie, synth-rock band from Sydney. They have sold out headline shows at the Goodspace Gallery and will take on the Metro Social in July, releasing their first single 'Letter to Selene'. With members from across genres and groups including, Polar Eyes, The Stellas and the Euan Hart band, the group is excited to explore less conventional ways of performing live music.Teaming up with Aerial Actrobatic troupe 'Nocturnal Creatures' is to perform with a live band is something neither group has tried before. Nocturnal Creatures bring years of aerial performing ability, led by Emily Lecky, recent winner of the North Face Adventure Grant, and who has travelled the world performing and teaching Lyra and Aerial straps. We welcome you to reimagine ways to see live music and invite two different scenes in Sydney to merge for the night.
