The Tagata Moana Writers Showcase highlights an emerging and expanding collective of pan-Pacific storytellers in NSW.
The Tagata Moana Writers Hub is a collective of approx. 30 emerging and expanding pan-Pacific storytellers in NSW. It was founded by Fale Tumanu and Gabriel Faatau'uu-Satiu in May 2024. The collective was created to foster collaboration, mentorship, and a shared passion for Pacific storytelling.This showcase is first of many to highlight a few of our existing members which comprises of poets, scriptwriters, prose, and musicians.In addition, a special musical guest from the community, a leading Pacific artist, and an opportunity to join our open mic component, is included at this special event.Refreshments will be included too.Thank you to our funding partner Create NSW and venue partner (ACE) Arts and Cultural Exchange for your ongoing support as this event would not have been made possible.
